PRINCIPLES OF PUBLIC SPEAKING

COURSE DESCRIPTON

Welcome to Public Speaking 101, the safest place to find your voice. In this 7-week program, you will build the confidence, clarity, and communication skills to speak effectively in any setting, from team meetings to large audiences. Throughout the course, you will: ~ Practice speaking in front of a group ~ Learn to organize your thoughts clearly and effectively ~ Strengthen your self-confidence ~ Become a more engaging and impactful speaker ~ Improve your ability to connect with others and ~ Learn to overcome your fear of public speaking! Each week introduces a new concept in public speaking, followed by interactive exercises that give you plenty of time to practice your skills! Topics covered include speech writing, presentation skills, persuasion, audience engagement, leadership, networking, body language, timing, expressiveness, humour, and more.
